CPS Parent Support Sessions

Collaborative and Proactive Solution (CPS) sessions are designed for parents and carers who have completed Dr Ross Greene’s CPS training and/ or for those who would like to understand more about the model but require support to understand how it works and how to implement it. Parents and carers are provided with feedback and guidance following their Plan B implementations within the home environment. Core sessions 

For parents and carers who have completed the Advanced CPS training, only 3-4 sessions may be required

Session 1: Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) explained
Session 2: Assessment of Lagging Skills and Unsolved Problems (ALSUP) 1 
Session 3: ALSUP 2 and prioritising unsolved problems
Session 4: Type 2 session
Session 5: Type 3 session
Session 6: Type 4 session
Session 7: Review implementation of Plan B
Session 8: Review, setbacks and planning ahead

Supplementary sessions

Supplementary Session 1: School meeting (case conference, teacher meeting)
