Dr Miriam Kirby
Clinical Team Lead (Training and Development)
I am passionate about supporting and affirming neurodivergent individuals and their families. My role includes providing therapeutic support and treatment of co-occurring mental health conditions to individuals of all ages. I also provide parenting support and problem-solving sessions and enjoy helping like-minded people connect through small, interest-based groups.
My approach is to offer a low demand, safe space for us to work together at a pace that suits you, as well as work through any challenges you may be experiencing. I would love to hear about your strengths and interests and understand your needs and preferences in order to provide an individualised and flexible service. I enjoy trying out new games and resources, adding to my book collection, and participating in professional development to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.
When I’m not at work, I’m spending time with my family and being entertained by Teddy the tiny cavoodle. My favourite things to do to recharge are going for a walk while listening to music or a podcast, getting a coffee, going to the beach, trying to get through my pile of books, and generally lazing around.
