Post Diagnostic Support Sessions
Child ADHD
Receiving a diagnosis of ADHD may come as a relief for some children and families as it provides a clear understanding of their experiences; for others, it might take time to understand what ADHD is, how having this neurotype may impact daily life, and what strategies and supports may be helpful.
To help begin this journey, we’ve created this support pack to help children better understand their strengths and needs, and discover how their brain works. Many people come to view ADHD as a meaningful part of their identity, and this 3-session pack will support your child to discover what ADHD might mean for them. Our goal is to help your child understand the role ADHD plays in their life and to provide strategies, resources and support available through The Kidd Clinic and beyond.
