Vini Ramesh

Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar (Melbourne)

I am a passionate psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages, particularly young people. With experience in private practice, the disability sector, and school settings, I help children, adolescents and their families navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, self-harm, emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties, bullying, and social struggles. Having a Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology, I also provide psychoeducational diagnostic assessments, including giftedness, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Difficulties.

In our sessions, I will be open, non-judgmental, and curious as we work together to build a trusting therapeutic relationship and make meaningful progress toward your goals. My approach is rooted in client-centered and strengths-based principles, ensuring that your needs and aspirations are always at the forefront of our work together. I am especially passionate about providing a safe, welcoming space for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals to explore their identities and address the unique challenges they face.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy dancing, music, baking, and painting. I also love spending time with friends, playing board games, or heading outdoors by myself for some necessary non-verbal time!
