Upcoming Group Supervision Sessions
PDA with Dr Theresa Kidd and Dr Miriam Kirby
These online small group and neurodiversity affirming supervision sessions are held by two Board Approved Psychologists and suitable for between 5-10 psychologists (including provisional and experienced psychologists) who work with Autistic clients and/or their families.
Group sessions focus on case conceptualisation, treatment planning, and the therapy process with child, adolescent or adult PDA presentations. The sessions offer a unique learning environment, support, and connection with like-minded, passionate peers. Our group supervision sessions are structured to meet the supervision and CPD requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia, with no more than five (5) supervisees to one Board-approved supervisor. Our PDA Group supervision usually has two board approved supervisors in attendance.
Well designed group supervision sessions can cultivate professional relationships, enhance clinical knowledge and skills, provide opportunities for observational learning and hearing multiple perspectives and increase confidence in clinical practice. Our Board Approved Supervisors regularly conduct safe, friendly and supportive online group supervision sessions to allied health practitioners in the following areas:
Working therapeutically with Autistic clients within a neurodiversity affirming framework
